Eventually the growth rate in prices is going to slow down. A lot of homeowners have delayed selling but as prices rise, more people will be in the position to sell. Plenty of would be sellers finally have their head out from under the water and can now move up or down into their next home. Look for an increase in Carmel Valley homes for sale in 2014.
They are still a lot of pent up buyers out there waiting to purchase Carmel Valley real estate. Sellers that are sitting on the fence have to decide if they should put their home on the market now when inventory is limited or wait until spring where there’s definitely going to be more competition.
